Joe & Pat Martelle
Region 7 Representatives
We have been homeschooling since the late 1990’s when the Lord impressed on our hearts Deuteronomy 6:4-7 which convicted us to bring our (then) youngest two home from Christian school. We were convinced that we were to disciple our children and couldn’t do that if they were away in school for 7 hours a day. Since then, we were blessed with two more children, the Lord giving us 5 in all!
We are passionate about preserving our homeschool freedoms and educating new homeschool families about how those freedoms were won and how easily they can be lost. Additionally, we love to encourage parents to keep their focus on two things in homeschooling: first and foremost, remembering that whatever God calls you to do, He will equip you for it. Secondly, we do what we do with our children to raise up warriors for the Kingdom of Heaven.
