The Difference Between Schooling & Education by Israel Wayne
Most people think of schooling when they hear the word “education.” In reality however, the two are not intrinsically linked in any way. Learn why most people are schooled, but never truly educated, and how you can ensure your children get a great education, even without “schooling.”

Homeschooling in Michigan: Past, Present, and Future by Israel Wayne
The modern-day homeschooling movement has taken America by storm, with nearly 2 million students now being homeschooled nationwide. Michigan has gone from being one of the most restrictive states in regard to homeschool freedom, to being one of the very best places in the nation to homeschool! In this message, you will learn the unique story of the history of homeschooling in Michigan, how God has providentially led us to the freedoms we enjoy today, and what we can do to help maintain that freedom.
Brook Wayne speaks to moms from a vantage point of both a homeschool mother of ten and a homeschool graduate herself. Combining vision for family and living a deep, meaningful relationship with God, with the day to day “pressure cooker” realities of the homeschool lifestyle, Brook’s goal is to encourage and support moms. Brook serves alongside her husband, Israel, reaching the homeschooling and church community through the ministry of Family Renewal.
Israel Wayne is an author and conference speaker. He is a homeschooled graduate and homeschooling father of ten. He is the Director of Family Renewal and the author of six books (mostly on parenting and homeschooling). He and his family live in SW Michigan. www.FamilyRenewal.org
